About the Data Analysis and Reporting Team

The Data Reporting and Analysis team supports the Global Natural Resources business by delivering high‑quality management information, insights, and reporting solutions that enable effective decision‑making. The team partners closely with business and leadership stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, well‑governed, and aligned to commercial, operational, and strategic objectives.

Focusing on scalable and sustainable reporting solutions, the team works to reduce manual data processing, improve data standards and transparency, and strengthen confidence in the information used across the business. By combining technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, the team plays a critical role in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support growth, performance management, and long‑term strategy.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Information and Reporting professional to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality data and reporting solutions for the Global Natural Resources business. This role focuses on improving data visibility, reducing manual effort, and enabling confident, data‑driven decision‑making through accurate, connected, and reliable information.

The role plays a key part in supporting commercial, operational, and strategic objectives by ensuring management information is scalable, well‑governed, and aligned to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable frameworks and solutions for Management Information reporting
  • Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Reduce manual data manipulation and improve the reliability and automation of reporting processes
  • Establish and maintain consistent data standards, definitions, reconciliation logic, governance, and ownership across datasets
  • Analyse data to deliver actionable commercial, operational, and growth insights
  • Build, operate, and enhance flexible reports and processes to support changing business requirements
  • Produce clear and simple visualisations and reporting outputs for non‑technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, schemas, and reporting logic
  • Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness and business impact of data delivery

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with hands‑on data analysis skills and ownership of end‑to‑end data delivery
  • Strong experience working with Structured Query Language and Microsoft Power BI
  • Excellent knowledge of developing stored procedures, functions, views, and Transact‑SQL programs
  • Experience developing and maintaining Extract, Transform, and Load processes using SQL Server Integration Services across multiple data sources
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Ability to analyse and optimise SQL queries for performance; experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications is an advantage
  • Proven experience delivering data and reporting solutions that support commercial, operational, and strategic outcomes
  • Experience implementing practical data governance, standards, and reconciliation processes
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not essential
