Job Description


We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst – MIS & Reporting with strong expertise in Excel, Smartsheet, and SQL to support data-driven decision-making. The role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, building insightful dashboards, and defining meaningful KPIs aligned with business objectives.


Requirements


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain data in Excel and Smartsheet, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates

  • Perform data validation and quality checks to eliminate discrepancies and ensure data integrity

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

  • Identify, define, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business goals

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from databases

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into data solutions

  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

  • Conduct trend analysis and data interpretation to provide actionable insights

  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • 2–3 years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, or Reporting roles

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred)

  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project/data management tools

  • Working knowledge of SQL (data extraction, joins, aggregations)

  • Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus)

  • Strong understanding of data validation, governance, and reporting frameworks

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Prior experience in F&B (Food & Beverage), Hospitality, or related industries is highly preferred
