This role involves initiating the development and deployment of data analytics at Select Health to support medical economics and value-based care programs. As a Senior Data Analyst focused on Medical Economics, you will act in a more senior capacity, contributing to the delivery of actionable insights that drive cost optimization, quality improvement, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires expertise in healthcare data analysis, predictive modeling, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executive stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Lead the design and execution of advanced analytics projects focused on medical cost trends,utilization, and risk adjustment.
Provides advanced support for management level leadership in business areas
Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Develops a deep understanding of customer data and business/clinical operations they support.
Fulfills complex customer requests through data exploration, report development, and visual storytelling.
Independently provides project updates and communicates analytic findings to their customers.
Leads analytic work demonstrations and hands-on training for customers to promote understanding and independent consumption of analytic work.
Support the development and interpretation of complex data sources, including claims,eligibility,and external benchmarks.
