Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support Last Mile Operations through data-driven insights, performance reporting, and workforce analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building operational dashboards, analyzing delivery performance metrics, supporting capacity planning initiatives, and ensuring data quality across reporting systems. This role plays a key part in enabling operational excellence and informed decision-making across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Build and Maintain Operational Performance Dashboards and Reports

  • Design, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI dashboards.
  • Automate recurring reports to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and reporting health.

Analyze Last Mile Operational Data

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on key metrics including SLA, assignment time, fulfillment rate, UTR, and captain utilization.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings and insights to operational stakeholders.

Support Capacity Planning and Workforce Analytics

  • Analyze workforce utilization and scheduling effectiveness.
  • Combine shift planning data with operational performance metrics.
  • Identify under-planned store-hour combinations and capacity risks.
  • Highlight high-risk time slots and support demand forecasting initiatives.

Provide Data Support for Cross-Functional Performance Reviews

  • Prepare weekly and monthly business performance reports.
  • Support Operations, Planning, and Ground Teams with structured data outputs.
  • Deliver insights that enable operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Assist leadership teams during performance review discussions.

Maintain and Improve Data Quality and Reporting Infrastructure

  • Standardize reporting inputs and data sources.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Document reporting logic, definitions, and dashboard methodologies.
  • Maintain dashboard version control and reporting governance standards.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
  • Previous experience in logistics, delivery, supply chain, or e-commerce environments is preferred.
  • Experience building operational dashboards and performance reports.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform advanced data analysis.
  • Knowledge of reporting automation and dashboard development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in SQL, Python, Power BI, or Data Analytics.
  • Understanding of Last Mile Operations and related KPIs such as SLA, UTR, CPO, Fulfillment Rate, and Utilization Metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
