Procurement Data Analyst - Indirect Procurement Staff Role Katowice, Poland The contextWe’re part of a global group with procurement teams spread across regions, systems, and time zones. Right now, we’re bringing order to that data as the business moves towards D365 — and that’s where this role comes in.This isn’t about building pretty charts for the sake of it. Your work will directly shape sourcing decisions, supplier conversations, and where the business saves (or wastes) money. The roleAs Procurement Data Analyst, you’ll turn messy, multi-source procurement data into something people can actually use. You’ll work closely with category managers, procurement leadership, finance, and the ERP team to make sure decisions are based on facts, not gut feel.You’ll report into the Head of Procurement Excellence once the role is in place, and in the meantime to the Procurement Project Lead.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

  • Collect, cleanse, and standardise global spend data from D365 and legacy systems
  • Build and run regular spend analysis to spot savings, consolidation opportunities, and maverick spend
  • Create dashboards and reports that track procurement KPIs (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel)
  • Analyse supplier performance data and support supplier reviews and improvement plans
  • Support sourcing activity with solid data for RFx, negotiations, and benchmarking
  • Work with the ERP team to improve master data quality and reporting accuracy
  • Oversee contract uploads and reporting on coverage, renewals, and ESG metrics
  • Respond to ad‑hoc data requests without everything turning into a fire drill

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 2–5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, VBA — you know your way around it)
  • Hands-on SQL experience querying large datasets
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as D365, JDE, or Oracle
  • A practical mindset — you can turn complex data into clear, usable insight
  • Confidence explaining your findings to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting contract management or supplier scorecards
  • Involvement in ERP transitions or data migration projects
  • A healthy impatience for bad data and inefficient processes
