Scope / Overview
Seeking experienced Data Analyst III professionals to support operational and performance analytics initiatives through advanced dashboard development, data transformation, and business intelligence reporting. This role will work closely with operations, engineering, and continuous improvement teams to deliver actionable insights that support business performance and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI and/or Spotfire, advanced SQL capabilities, and the ability to work with large and complex datasets across multiple operational systems. Candidates should be comfortable interfacing with both technical and field operations stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Main Functions
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI and Spotfire
  • Import, cleanse, validate, and transform datasets from multiple data sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting systems
  • Analyze trends, correlations, and operational performance drivers
  • Present data through dashboards, charts, graphs, and tables for operational visibility and decision-making
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and continuous improvement teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and reporting
  • Perform data validation and troubleshooting activities to maintain reporting integrity
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple analytical priorities
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI and/or Spotfire dashboard development and visualization tools
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating datasets
  • Experience analyzing complex operational datasets and delivering actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across engineering and operations teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience with Databricks preferred
  • Working knowledge of Python preferred
  • Experience supporting Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets preferred
  • Professional-level Data Analyst experience required

  • Candidates will be tested on technical skills during the interview process
  • Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate dashboarding, SQL, and analytical capabilities during meet & greet sessions
  • This role requires a highly skilled analyst capable of working with minimal direction and delivering production-ready analytical solutions
