Job Description

In short, this Data Analyst II role is for a detail-oriented, curious problem solver who thrives on executing well-defined analytical work with precision.You’llfocus on turning clearly scoped business questions intoaccurate, trustworthy metrics and analyses that support monitoring, experimentation, and automation efforts. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role supporting our Loan Servicing team with strong SQL skills, thoughtful use of AI tools, and a willingness to ask “why” are key to success.

In long, as the Data Analyst II, you willbe responsible for

  • Executing clearly scoped analytical work with a high degree of accuracy and rigor.

  • Translating defined problem statements into concrete analytical tasks using established internal patterns.

  • Applying prescribed analytical methods, such as hypothesis testing and comparative analysis, to answer business questions.

  • Using AI-assisted tools to support SQL development, think through analytical steps and edge cases, andvalidatelogic and results before delivery.

  • Writing clean, readable SQL to produce requested KPIs and analytical outputs that others can easily review andmaintain

  • Partnering with senior analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment before execution begins.

  • Supporting experimentation and comparative analysis by accurately implementing definedtestand control logic.

  • Contributing to scalable analytical solutions by following established pipelines, validation patterns, and documentation standards.

  • Raising questions when assumptions, inputs, or requirements are unclear and escalating risks early to prevent rework.

The Specifics:

  • 2+yearsexperienceexecuting analytical work against clearly defined problem statements.

  • A degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative or analytical field is preferred.

  • Workingproficiencyin SQLand Excelwith a strong emphasis on correctness, clarity, and readability.

  • Data visualization tools

  • Familiarity with common analytical methods, including hypothesis testing and basic comparative analysis.

  • Strong attention to detail, quality control, and a willingness to seek clarification when thingsdon’tline up.

Nice to Have:

  • Educational or practical background in statistics or quantitative analysis.

  • Python for analysis, automation, or data validation.

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to support analysis, code development, or problem-solving.

  • A genuine interest in building deeper skills in experimentation design, automation, and analyticalmethodology
