Salary Range CN¥500,000 - CN¥800,000 per year

Work Setup Hybrid, Mostly WFH

Location 1-chome, Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061, Japan

Your Responsibilities:

1. Utilize analytics and AI technologies to solve business problems for the ompany.
2. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to provide tailored analytics and AI technical support based on an understanding of the needs of each business department.
3. Build an analytics solution that meets business requirements. The analytical techniques include the following: ◦ Exploratory data analysis (e.g., correlation analysis)

• Predictive analytics (e.g., sales forecasting, latent demand forecasting, in-store foot traffic forecasting)
• Segmentation analysis (e.g., customer segmentation, product segmentation)
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of various policies and measures

4. Conduct data collection, data cleaning, and feature engineering tasks related to analysis.
5. Leverage existing AI agents and analytics support tools to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of analytics and reporting work.
6. AI agents built using large language models and other technologies to perform tasks such as data extraction, standardized analysis, and report-writing assistance.
7. Understand AI agents designed by data scientists, and based on business needs, complete parameter setting, tuning, and proposal of optimization suggestions.
8. Carry out simple implementation, prototype design, and effectiveness verification of AI agents.

What We're Looking For:

1. Major in Information Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering is preferred
2. Must be able to speak Japanese, English, and Chinese at a professional level
3. Possess 2 or more years of relevant work experience as a data analyst.
4. Possesses the ability to build statistical models.
5. Possesses data visualization skills
6. Relevant experience in using analysis-assistance tools and AI agents based on large language models
7. Possess relevant experience in prototyping and AI agent validation.
8. Experience in proposing AI application optimization suggestions in analytical work
9. Possess programming skills (proficient in SQL, R, and Python).
10. Possesses large-scale data processing capabilities
11. Possess practical experience in building ML models.
12. Experienced in deep learning model development
13. Possesses relevant work experience in the retail industry.
14. Possess communication skills to bridge the gap between “business needs” and “analytical / AI technical limitations
