The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming business data into actionable insights through the development of automated reporting solutions, advanced analytics, and interactive dashboards. The role focuses on extracting and modeling large datasets from SAP and other enterprise systems using Databricks, while designing scalable Power BI reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.

A key objective of this position is to automate data collection, transformation, and reporting processes wherever possible to improve efficiency, data quality, and business responsiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
  • Create intuitive and visually compelling dashboards tailored to stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure report performance, usability, and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Utilize Databricks for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and preparation
  • Integrate data from SAP and multiple enterprise systems into consolidated analytics models.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data preparation activities.
  • Implement automated workflows for data extraction, transformation, refresh, and distribution.
  • Reduce manual intervention through standardized, scalable reporting solutions.
  • Leverage Power BI Service, Databricks, SQL, and automation tools to streamline analytics operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • SAP (or other ERP software) – 1-2 years
  • Experience with Databricks and large-scale data processing – 1-2 years
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including:
    • Data Modeling
    • DAX
    • Power Query
    • Dashboard Design
  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
  • Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
