Natixis in Portugal is a Centre of Expertise whose mission is to transform traditional banking by developing innovative solutions for the business, operations and work culture of Groupe BPCE worldwide.
As part of Groupe BPCE’s international division, Natixis in Portugal designs and delivers solutions for its two core areas – Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management – as well as transversal services that support all entities across the Group.
With more than 3,000 employees representing 46 nationalities, the teams work across Information Technology, Banking Support Activities, and Compliance, in an integrated, inclusive, and cross-functional way, supporting all business lines and platforms of the Group.
A disruptive mindset and a culture of proximity and agility identify Natixis in Portugal Team and reflect the company's mission to transform traditional banking at a global scale: a perfect match in the Portuguese dynamics and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The CIO Office is a transversal function supporting IT management across Natixis and Groupe BPCE. Its mission is to define, structure, and sustain governance frameworks, rules, processes, and data foundations that support informed decision‑making at management level.
The CIO Office operates in close connection with the support functions, to promote more efficient channels of communication for management control.
The main areas of scope of the CIO Office are: Project based management, associated with resources, activities and planning control. In addition, it includes control activities associated with KPI implementation and monitoring, financial and Budget control. As well, the CIO Office aims to harmonize the practices and rules, to facilitate a cross-cutting understanding of the challenges and the needs.
Main tasks and goals:
The Data Analyst will work within the CIO Office in close connection with the CIB Business management IT & Operations unit. In this role lies the responsibility for structuring, validating, analyzing, and transforming data into reliable insights, with a strong focus on IT activity tracking, controls, and governance related reporting, including the supervision of TEMPO usage and CPN1 control mechanisms.
This is a Data Analyst role with a strong governance and controls dimension, not a pure reporting or operational support role. The value of the position lies in data reliability, analytical insight, and long term consistency of governance indicators, serving IT management, and strategic steering.
The mission of the Data Analyst is:
Gather data from multiple internal sources (IT activity tracking, TEMPO, financial and operational datasets).
Clean, prepare, and validate datasets, identify missing values, inconsistencies, and quality issues. Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and anomalies relevant to IT activity and controls.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datasets used for governance, controls, and reporting.
Translate analytical findings into business‑level insights suitable for senior IT and management stakeholders.
Support decision‑making through structured analysis and fact‑based recommendations. Ensure consistency over time between data sources, control expectations, and governance frameworks.
Contribute in 2026 to Talent Management System (IT CIB Skills Matrix assessment for Paris & Porto) in the design of our target solution and the preparation of 2026-2027 skills’ collection.
Manage TEMPO spaces for IT CIB projects, support PMs, monitoring TEMPO completion rate and data quality from a controls perspective.
Support PMs on CPN1 Group‑defined controls and indicators: explain expectations and how to comply, monitor adherence and reporting quality, and contribute (when relevant) with proposals for marginal control evolution.
Participate in the improvement and automation of data pipelines and preparation processes where applicable.
Given the significant volume of francophone end users you will engage with, fluency in French, both written and spoken, is a requirement for this role. This proficiency will enable you to effectively address support requests and ensure adherence to established processes.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data-driven role.
Proven experience working with governance, controls, or activity tracking topics.
Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and presenting complex data in a clear, business‑oriented manner.
