Job Description

This role supports the Business Intelligence function within Global Business Services (Finance), combining strong analytical and technical expertise with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Activities

The role focuses on data analysis, dashboard and report development (Power BI), data validation, and transforming large datasets into actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid role based in Mexico City, requiring on-site presence three days per week.

• Support the design, development, and maintenance of user-friendly reports, dashboards, and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using traditional and advanced statistical methods to support business intelligence and decision-making.
• Aggregate, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets to test hypotheses and meet business and analytical requirements.
• Develop and support programming and analytical solutions for data preparation, analysis, and visualization, including Power BI-based reporting.
• Transform complex datasets into clear and concise graphs, charts, tables, and dashboards for presentation to stakeholders.
• Assess trends and patterns to identify emerging, business-critical issues and opportunities, including safety-related insights derived from historical data.
• Contribute to the definition, development, and deployment of data, analytics, and reporting products and services.
• Maintain data quality through data validation, statistical analysis, and data mapping activities.
• Work within established policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.]
• Comply with the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, as well as all physical and digital security practices.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or statistical analysis (preferred).

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard and report development).
• Solid data management and data integration skills.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets preferred.

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and correlate complex data from multiple sources.
