Outline of the role

This role will support Zinc clients in strengthening their public communications efforts through the use of data driven insights. Working in close collaboration with Zinc clients, the role will contribute to communication strategies by analysing client performance data and statistics and helping craft compelling messaging about the client’s performance in key sectors. The data analyst will also analyse audience behaviour, information trends, and campaign performance. The Data Analyst will support evidence-based decision-making to enhance the effectiveness and reach of client communications.

This includes:

  • Collecting and analysing data from digital platforms and communication campaigns
  • Monitoring audience engagement and behavioural trends
  • Supporting the development of data-driven communication strategies
  • Providing insights to improve campaign performance and targeting

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our clients in generating insights that strengthen public communications. You will work closely with client counterparts and project teams, contributing to analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations.

You will:

  • Analyse data from social media, digital platforms, and campaigns
  • Track and evaluate performance metrics and KPIs
  • Identify trends in audience engagement and information consumption
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Support the optimisation of communication strategies and content
  • Contribute to monitoring of the information environment
  • Ensure all outputs align with relevant legal, ethical, and data protection standards

This is a full-time role running through 30 June, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track communication performance
  • Provide regular insights and briefings to stakeholders
  • Support campaign planning through data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with communication and content teams
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Requirements

  • Experience in data analysis, research, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Python, R, or similar)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Understanding of digital analytics (e.g. social media metrics, web analytics)
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience working with government, NGOs, or international organisations is desirable
  • Fluent Armenian required. English proficiency a plus.
