Job Description

Role: Data Analyst / API Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you would be defining, designing and documenting the interactions between software components. This involves defining different endpoints, specifying all the formats to be used, and creating the swagger that forms part of the API. You should have experience with strong security and performance considerations for these services.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Required minimum of 6+ years professional experience designing and developing Rest APIs and other (Kafka) Data
  • Streaming services
  • Experience on UML or BPMN, workflow design
  • Working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WDL, Postman
  • Experience working with Oracle, Mongo DB and SQL
  • Technical writing skills, good oral and written communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event Services
  • Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practices
  • Understand business requirements and translate them to API Design
  • Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and Kafka
  • Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns
  • Support technical planning, estimation, development, testing and AT support
  • Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution
  • Work in Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence tools
