Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will support the data analysis efforts within the TA&A Department, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to enhance decision-making processes, optimize team effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. You will assist in building and maintaining the department's data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and providing insights through data analysis techniques.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the department's data infrastructure, including mirror tables and data warehouses.
  • Help ensure a shared understanding of data semantics, KPIs, and rules among stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven automation and process improvement within operational workflows.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from diverse sources to generate statistical insights and identify patterns.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to provide a coherent vision of results to various teams.
  • Support the data steward for the TA&A Community, maintaining the link between conceptual, logical, physical, and representational data layers.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support specific business questions or new initiatives.
  • Create and present reports and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor and evaluate new and existing technologies to improve team performance and data analysis capabilities.

Required experience &competencies

Experience:

  • Experience in data cleansing, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Power Query, Talend, and Tableau Prep.
  • Basic knowledge of dashboarding tools like Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data product development software.
  • Ability to handle structured and unstructured data.

Required Education

  • Commercial apprenticip and/or University degree in Accounting or Finance or IT.
