eClerx is seeking a Data Analyst to support one of our leading global financial services clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and governance of critical reference data, including Legal Entity (LEM) IDs and Industry Codes, while supporting data quality remediation initiatives across multiple business functions.
Working closely with global Operations, Technology, Change, and Data teams, you will identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues, maintain documentation, monitor production processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
Ensure the accurate population and ongoing maintenance of Legal Entity (LEM) IDs and Industry Codes for in-scope clients.
Develop a strong understanding of the underlying data model and support data quality remediation programmes to resolve identified issues.
Partner with global teams to deliver excellent client service and seamless operational support.
Continuously monitor production processes to identify exceptions, anomalies and potential data quality issues in real time.
Investigate, analyse and resolve data discrepancies across multiple databases, applications and operational systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of front-to-back architecture, data remediation methodologies, processes and outcomes.
Collaborate with Technology, Data Owners, Change teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective data remediation strategies.
Generate regular and standardised reports covering data quality metrics, remediation activities and progress against data quality objectives.
Support reporting, analytics and management information requirements for key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
Work closely with Change teams to define and implement process improvement initiatives.
Adhere to internal operational controls, procedures and governance standards while ensuring high levels of data quality and accuracy.
Eligibility Requirements
Ideally 1–5 years of experience in Data Management, Reference Data, Operations, Middle Office, Collateral Management or a similar Financial Services environment.
Good understanding of data quality management, data governance and operational processes within financial services.
Previous experience in Operations, Collateral Management or ISDA Documentation would be advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and a robust control mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
Good understanding of front-to-back operational processes and the impact of data across the organisation.
Experience working with global teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or Qlik would be highly advantageous.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics or a related discipline is preferred.
Fluent in English and/or German.
Swiss work permit or EU passport required.
