Job Title: Data Analyst, Insights
Business Unit: Funds & Capital Markets (FCM)

Mode Hybrid

Work Hours: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM [ Mon – Fri ]

The Data Analyst in the CSC Funds & Capital Markets (FCM)’s Insights team will be responsible for leveraging data to drive insights, support decision-making, and enhance operational efficiencies. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Operations, Commercial, and Finance, to build and maintain robust data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with BI tools and data integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex datasets to generate insights and support business decisions across the Capital Markets business unit.
  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
  • Data Integration: Work with Salesforce and other data sources to ensure accurate and efficient data flows into analytics platforms.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data integrity by conducting regular data validation, reconciliation, and cleaning processes.
  • Business Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from Product Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Leadership teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Automation & Optimization: Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline reporting processes and improve data accessibility.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform deep-dive analyses on financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a data analytics role
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in DOMO or other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
    • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building and maintaining data-facing web interfaces and interactive reports.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying data issues and proposing solutions.
