About The Role
Beckons is seeking a Data Analyst to support the development and enhancement of our global data and reporting environment.
Based in our head office in Avalon Beach, with flexibility to work from home in a hybrid model, in this role, you’ll work across Snowflake and Tableau to deliver accurate, insightful reporting that supports decision-making across finance, operations, and commercial teams. You’ll play a key role in improving data quality, reporting processes, and dashboard usability.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting Snowflake data development and Tableau reporting improvements
• Preparing, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple systems
• Building and maintaining Tableau dashboards for business reporting
• Analysing large datasets to generate structured, actionable insights
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and data processes
About You
You are curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with data to uncover insights that support better business decisions. You’re proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with stakeholders across different teams.
You will ideally have:
• 1+ years’ experience in a data, financial, or business analyst role (internships or graduate programs considered)
• Proficiency in Tableau and SQL Experience with Snowflake is desirable
• Strong Excel skills, including working with large datasets and pivot tables
• Ability to clean, structure, and analyse complex data from multiple sources
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
• High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• A commercial mindset with curiosity to understand business drivers
• Experience with P&L reporting, forecasting, or financial analysis (desirable)
• Experience in hospitality, travel, or related sectors (a plus, not essential)
