
About the role
As our Data Analyst, you will support the development and evaluation of data driven health services
in the ACT region. This will be achieved through increased data sharing and
enhanced health intelligence with relevant stakeholders including CHN program staff,
ACT Health and other Primary Health Networks. The successful applicant will be
responsible for analysing complex health datasets to address areas of needs in
our population health planning, service commissioning and business development.
About the team
CHN’s Data and Reporting Team provides key advice to inform the organisation’s reporting,
planning and evaluation processes. This advice is used to support ACT service
planning and commissioning processes, as well as program evaluation to
integrate health care, improve health equity and achieve better health outcomes
for Canberrans.

Your proficiency in data transformation, analysis and reporting will be crucial to optimise our
data processes. You will thrive in using your ETL expertise to extract data
from various sources, transform it into usable formats and load it within Azure
cloud environments. Beyond this, your knowledge of secure data sharing
mechanisms will see you play a key role in protecting CHN’s data assets while
enabling collaboration to increase our overall data capability. You will work
with a dynamic team of subject matter experts who share your passion in
leveraging data to improve health outcomes and provide guidance and leadership
in understanding local health and service needs.
As part of an innovative organisation, your work within the Data and Reporting Team will give you the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and broader organisational projects and initiatives.
Work location
This position is based in our newly renovated and modern office, located in the heart of the Belconnen town centre. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to

Position Salary: $48.52 per hour (approximately $96,178 per annum) plus superannuation
