We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform data into actionable insights, supporting our decision-making processes and enhancing overall business performance. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, statistical methodologies, and data visualization tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.
  • Cleanse and prepare data for analysis by handling missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and software tools to perform complex analyses and validate findings.
  • Assist in the creation of data models and database structures to support reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate KPI performance, providing recommendations for optimization or changes in strategy.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations to convey findings to management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Mandatory Criteria

1. Supplier key personnel must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in:

a. Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS.
b. Data analysis and modelling against transactional and analytical systems with the Kimball methodology.
c. Data modelling tools (IBM data architect, erwin, etc.) and the management of data modelling repositories and solutions.
d. Data profiling, using both automated tools and hand-coded SQL to determine data quality metrics, constraints, etc.
e. Delivery of large-scale, information management, information governance and analytics solutions.

2. Supplier key personnel must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure data products, including:

a. Azure SQL database
b. Azure Data Factory
c. Azure Data Lake

3. Supplier key personnel must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with the Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).

4. Supplier key personnel must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with T-SQL skills, including creating stored procedures, views, and indexes, as well as performance tuning queries.

5. Supplier key personnel should have strong technical experience and understanding of Business Intelligence (BI), Data/Analytics, Reporting, Data Integration and Master Data Management (MDM)

6. Supplier key personnel should have experience with Microsoft Azure data products (Azure SQL database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake)

7. Supplier key personnel should have experience with Microsoft BI tools, including Power BI

8. Supplier key personnel should have experience with Data Vault modelling TSQL, SQL Server Stored procedure design

9. Supplier key personnel should have experience in or have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

10. Supplier should have experience in data migration projects, including the design, implementation, of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or equivalent.

11. Supplier should have experience testing migrated data against source for completeness and accuracy.

12. Supplier should have experience drafting/contributing to data migration strategies, including defining target data structures and mapping source-to-target data flows.

13. Supplier key personnel should have knowledge and understanding of BI tools including Power BI, Tableau, QlikView and SAS

14. Supplier should have experience developing reports, live dashboards and workspaces using Power BI / Power Platform.
