Roles & Responsibilities :
This role leads the engineering teams that build and deliver the Service Line's client engagements across data foundations and AI/GenAI solutions. A hands-on delivery leader accountable for people, commercials, client engagements, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
Key responsibilities
Engineering delivery leadership
Lead the engineering teams — data engineering and AI/GenAI solution development.
Own end-to-end delivery across the engagement lifecycle: Planning, execution, deployment, and transition to Managed Ops.
Direct delivery through project managers and technical leads; set delivery methods, cadences, and governance.
Ensure architectural and engineering decisions align with CoE standards and reference architectures
Business & commercials
Track and own revenue realization, EBIT, and deployment efficiency
Manage profitable delivery: Resource pyramid and productivity measures
Support pursuits with delivery estimates, staffing plans, and solution feasibility
Support account mining through delivery excellence and identification of follow-on work.
Client engagement management
Own the delivery relationship with clients — governance, status, expectation management, and escalation resolution.
Manage customer satisfaction – Feedback, Timely communication, Excellence
Identify and track delivery risks, mitigation
Quality, cost & delivery metrics
Own engineering and delivery quality and adherence to delivery quality standards.
Define, track, and report delivery metrics — Quality, Cost and Schedule.
Ensure delivery adheres to AI governance, security, and Responsible AI standards. Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency
People & capability
Lead, develop, and retain engineering talent; own hiring, performance, and career development in partnership with the Talent Family.
Build technical bench strength across data and AI/GenAI engineering skills. Foster culture of excellence.
Experience
12–18 years in software/data engineering delivery, with strong delivery-management and people-leadership experience
Expected Skills
Solid grounding in data engineering and AI/ML delivery; familiarity with GenAI, RAG, and agentic solution delivery
Strong grasp of engineering quality, agile delivery, and delivery metrics/governance
Proven ownership of cost, quality, and schedule across complex engagements
Experience owning delivery revenue, EBIT, Deployment efficiency and productivity
First-level people leadership; performance assessment and career progression dialogs, mentorship
Educational qualification:
B.E/B.Tech/MCA/PhD or equivalent Qualification
Experience :
12–18 years in software/data engineering delivery, with strong delivery-management and people-leadership experience
