In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering high‑quality data management, reporting support, and analytical services that enable accurate operational and strategic decision‑making across the Regulatory Transformation & Insights branch, you will help ensure Transport for NSW maintains reliable information that drives better outcomes for customers, communities and the broader transport network.

This role will see you support the maintenance of datasets, enhance reporting tools, and contribute to the development of accessible, reliable information for internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll work across diverse datasets, translate business requirements into reporting outputs, maintain documentation and metadata, and gain excellent exposure to data systems, BI tools, and cross‑functional collaboration—offering strong development opportunities in analytics, data governance and reporting.

You will build efficient reporting processes and strengthen data quality practices in a complex and multi‑system environment where clear communication, analytical thinking and high attention to detail are critical.

About you


Your data management knowledge, analytical mindset and skill in using databases and business intelligence tools—formed across roles involving reporting, data analysis, data administration or business systems support—will see you deliver accurate reporting, overcome challenges of working with diverse data sources, and bring strong documentation and quality discipline that improves consistency and supports decision‑making.

You're recognised as a collaborative team member, skilled at translating information into meaningful insights, and experienced in maintaining datasets, analysing operational data, supporting ad hoc queries, and working with stakeholders to ensure data needs are met.
