Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule Full-time (40 hours per week)

What You'll Do in the DASL Co-Op Role
At our Design and Sample Lab (DASL) in Rochester, NY, you’ll work directly with our Sales, Innovation, and Marketing teams to design and develop innovative flexible packaging prototypes for top brands. You’ll contribute to projects that rethink traditional packaging by working on designs that bring ideas to life!

Adequate skills in Illustrator and Photoshop are required.

In this fast-paced, creative environment, you will:

• Brainstorm ideas and create models
• Size flexible packaging for customers currently in rigid containers or corrugate
• Design and develop flexible packaging prototypes
• Work on graphic design projects for new packaging,
• Create renders or illustrations of flexible packaging,
• Develop solutions with flexible packaging for customers seeking to differentiate themselves in the market.
• Use Adobe Illustrator to create artwork for packaging concepts
• Create mock-ups and test them against customer specifications
• Work hands-on in a lab setting, follow housekeeping procedures for the lab and the equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Keep supplies and materials organized and stored properly
