In this role, you will represent Danone in the Independent Grocery channel, working across Greater Sydney with occasional travel to Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands & Wollongong. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with stores and multi‑site operators (MSOs) to drive distribution and sales, increasing market share and category performance of Danone’s iconic brands through opportunity‑based selling.

Key Responsibilities

• Growing distribution ranging through sell in of core and NPD products

• Negotiation of greater shelf space in store to leverage market share

• Maximising upcoming and current promotional activity

• Driving sales results

• Managing a territory and developing strong store relationships

• Implementation of layouts

• Reporting and providing feedback on key field insights and activity.

They are not afraid to ask for help when things get challenging as well as reach out to encourage those around them. Our ideal candidate will possess these skills as well as:

  • Full Time role 5 days per week across Monday - Friday
  • Relevant experience in sales based role in Retail, FMCG and Merchandising, highly favourable in Independent Grocery
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Valid drivers license and reliable car
