About the role:
Deliver expert payroll services across the Nordics with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will independently manage complex payrolls, lead process improvement activities, support system changes, and coach junior colleagues.
You act as a subject matter expert, driving operational excellence internally and externally.
Which tasks can you expect?
Manage end-to-end payroll processing independently, including complex and escalated cases.
Act as the trusted advisor for payroll-related client matters and audits.
Ensure payrolls are processed with the highest accuracy, on time, and in compliance with Nordic country laws and client agreements
Perform advanced quality controls, audits, and reconciliations.
Manage complex statutory filings and reporting to authorities
Lead updates and improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and client-specific documentation.
Actively participate in client governance calls, audits, and operational reviews
Identify, lead, and implement payroll process improvement initiatives.
Support testing and validation for system changes and enhancements.
Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Danish proficiency is essentialand fluency in English.
What do you have to offer?
+5 years experience processing Danish payroll
You are meticulous, proactive, and solution oriented
You demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills, a deep understanding of Nordic payroll legislation, and high client service standards.
You enjoy building relationships with clients and mentoring your team to deliver exceptional service
You coach and mentor less experienced and onboard and train new colleagues.
