LOCAL SEARCH: DALLAS, TX – A warm, thoughtful, and busy family is seeking a dedicated, flexible, and energetic LIVE OUT FULL-TIME NANNY / FAMILY ASSISTANT to join their household as soon as possible. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a proactive, nurturing, highly dependable candidate who thrives in a structured yet loving environment and enjoys becoming a true extension of the family. The nanny will care for two wonderful children, a bright and active 5-year-old son and a joyful, loving 3-year-old daughter. Both children are highly active, curious, playful, and thrive with movement, outdoor time, creativity, and engaging interaction. The family values consistency, warmth, and long-term partnership and hopes to find someone who genuinely wants to grow alongside their family for years to come.
The family is open to one of two full-time schedule options depending on the candidate’s energy level, availability, and overall fit:
Option 1:Monday–Friday: 6:15 AM – 4:15 PM (50 guaranteed hours)
Option 2:Monday–Thursday: 6:15 AM – 6:15 PMFriday: 6:15 AM – 2:15 PM (56 guaranteed hours)
Please note: the early morning start time is non-negotiable, as mom is a surgeon and must leave for the OR early each morning. The family may also eventually hire an additional evening nanny/family assistant unless the candidate hired prefers the extended-hour option. During the summer, the children’s schedule is more relaxed and flexible. Beginning August 11th, the 5-year-old will attend school Monday through Friday from approximately 7:25 AM – 3:00 PM (pickup line begins around 2:30 PM), while the 3-year-old will attend school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The children’s activities currently include karate on Wednesdays at 4:15 PM for the older child and gymnastics on Fridays at 11:00 AM for the younger child.
The ideal candidate is warm, playful, active, safety-minded, organized, emotionally intuitive, and highly reliable. The family would love someone who enjoys being outdoors, planning enriching activities, engaging in imaginative play, reading stories, visiting parks and libraries, and creating a structured yet joyful environment for the children. Experience with mild ADHD, highly curious learners, or neurodivergent children is strongly valued, as is a willingness to collaborate with the family and support the children’s emotional and developmental growth. Responsibilities include school drop-offs and pickups, driving to activities, planning enriching outings, preparing simple healthy meals for the children, child-related laundry, rotating toys, organizing play areas, occasional errands, and helping maintain smooth day-to-day household flow. A fully maintained nanny car will be provided for all child-related transportation.
Compensation is open and competitive via payroll depending on experience, with overtime paid accordingly. The family also offers PTO, paid sick time, paid holidays, and guaranteed hours. There is no heavy cleaning involved. An NDA will be required solely due to mom’s profession and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality should work-related calls occasionally occur from home. The family describes themselves as loving, collaborative, and deeply appreciative of finding the right long-term fit. They are looking for someone calm, capable, energetic, and genuinely excited to become an integral and valued part of their home.
