Job Description

As a Dairy Management Advisor, you will serve as a strategic dairy consultant who owns customer outcomes using smaXtec technology. You will build strong relationships with dairy producers, interpret herd and system data, guide customers toward measurable operational improvements, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing use of the smaXtec system.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leads customer readiness and planning for smaXtec installations and manages & supports installation on farm at our customers' premises
  • Owns and manages customer relationships, taking responsibility for successful adoption and continued use of smaXtec technology
  • Analyzes smaXtec and herd data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that support customer goals
  • Utilizes system & data collection to analyze return on investment and supports customer success and experience
  • Builds & establishes long-term customer relationships and utilizing upselling potential
  • Trains & supports customers with the implementation and use of our system
  • Performs troubleshooting & collaborates with internal teams to resolve issues timely
  • Collaborates across Customer Success, Sales, Technical Support, and other internal teams to support successful customer outcomes
  • Provides solution-oriented & competent advice for a wide range of customer inquiries
  • Presents & represents smaXtec at agricultural trade fairs and events
  • Efficient use of our CRM system for daily work

What You Bring

  • A minimum of four years of experience in the dairy industry, preferably as a herd manager or responsible for cattle health or feeding
  • At least two years of experience managing customer relationships, consulting with dairy producers, or leading dairy operations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Health, or related field preferred
  • Passionate about the dairy industry and improving dairy operations through technology
  • Enjoy working directly with dairy producers and supporting customers through a combination of remote and on-farm engagement
  • Strong knowledge of dairy operations, herd management, and cow health protocols
  • Valid driver's license & good driving record
  • Open to travel, including overnight travel, approximately 50% of the time in the US & internationally as needed
  • Enthusiasm for innovative agri-technologies and a hands-on, customer- and solution-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage competing priorities, establish clear action plans and deadlines, and follow through on customer commitments
  • Comfortable asking probing questions, challenging existing practices when appropriate, and guiding customers toward measurable operational improvements

Salary

Salary range: 60,000 - 110,000 USD (Annual)
