About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Dairy, Frozen & Liqour Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of these key departments. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for delivering strong department performance while maintaining high standards in presentation, availability, and customer service.

This is a full-time position, working five days per week. Days and hours will be discussed during the interview process

What the role involves:

• Managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Dairy, Frozen, and Liquor departments
• Taking ownership of buying, including ordering, range management, and stock control
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and representatives
• Leading, supporting, and developing your team to achieve department goals
• Ensuring shelves are well stocked, merchandised, and presented to a high standard
• Monitoring stock levels, waste, and department performance
• Maintaining food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards
• Delivering excellent customer service and responding to customer needs

What we’re looking for:

• Previous supermarket or retail management experience is preferred
• Experience in buying, stock control, and supplier management is highly advantageous
• Proven experience leading and managing people is essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, reliable, and hands‑on leadership style
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
• Availability for one weekend shift
• Days and hours will be confirmed at interview
