The Dairy Feed Sales Officer will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition Health business in Tamil Nadu. You will support the team with face to face and remote selling to new and existing customers, appointing new distributors, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels for your assigned territory. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions to the farmers.
•Help develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations and participate in conducting product demonstrations.
•Help identify and contact prospective customers.
•Build customer relationships that help generate future sales and repeat business.
•Apply broad theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers.
•Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
•Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
•Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
•Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Strong exposure in sales advisor role, general trade and distribution sales in the agriculture sector. (pesticides, fertilizers, agriculture chemicals) in Tamil Nadu.
•Sales exposure in the Dairy / Cattle Feed Sales background is an added advantage.
•Should have very strong connects with farmers.
•Must be fluent in speaking local language.
•Proven experience in increasing sales and profitability in the assigned territory.
•Ability to manage multiple dealers and SKU's.
