THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the team at Pāmu’s Achilles Farm as a Dairy Farm Assistant. This is a hands-on dairy role where you’ll be part of the day-to-day running of the farm.
You’ll work with a supportive team and farm manager, and build your skills across milking, calving, feeding, fencing, moving stock, animal health and caring for the environment.
No two days are quite the same. You’ll have the chance to learn from experienced people, grow your confidence, and keep developing your dairy farming career.
ABOUT YOU
You might already have dairy farming experience, or you may be ready to take the next step in your farming career.
What matters most is that you enjoy working with animals, like being outdoors, and are willing to learn. You’ll be part of a team that supports each other, works safely, and takes pride in caring for the animals, the farm and the environment.

THE PĀMU FARM
Achilles Dairy Unit is part of the Pāmu Pastoral Complex, just 15 minutes from Taupō. Set on an 840 effective ha block, the farm milks 2,250 cows through a 60-bail rotary shed.
You’ll also get to work with Halter technology on farm, helping make day-to-day stock management more efficient.
With Taupō close by, you can enjoy the best of the central North Island lifestyle, from the lake and mountain biking trails to cafés, shops, schools, and plenty of outdoor recreation.
