Programme Overview

Daimler Truck Southern Africa Ltd has partnered with Government on the Youth Employment Services (YES) programme to provide unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain workplace experience for a period of 12 months. We are proud to be a part of this initiative that plays a role in supporting the youth of South Africa. In compliance to the Company's Integrity, Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy, Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality requirements and to perform delegated SHERQ tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Location: Sandown Centurion, TruckStore Centurion & TruckStore N14

What the Programme Offers

• Practical on-the-job training within the commercial vehicle environment
• Structured learning covering sales fundamentals, customer engagement, and product knowledge
• Exposure to trucks, buses, and aftersales support
• Mentorship from experienced sales professionals
• Real workplace experience to prepare you for a long-term career in sales

Who can apply?

• Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 – 29 years old
• Grade 12 / Matric (Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field is an advantage)
• Strong aspiration to pursue a career as a Commercial Vehicles Sales Executive
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy
• Willingness to learn and grow in a demanding sales environment
• Clear Criminal record
• Must speak English
• Candidates must strictly not have participated in any YES4Youth programme before
• No work experience is required

• Interested in building a career within the commercial vehicle sector
