Join TES Staffing and the dedicated team in Greece, NY as a floating Food Service Worker for the upcoming 2026 school year! This entry-level kitchen position is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school district and develop your skills working with children.
Schedule: Daily sub/on call. This position is AM only (no nights or weekends!) Set schedules are offered upon availability.
Pay: $17.00/hr

Qualifications:

Previous food service experience preferred, but not required

Must obtain, purchase, and pass background check through NYSED.

Ability to float to different Greece Central Schools as needed

Perform physical job duties that include walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds

Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Must effectively and professionally interact with students, faculty, and staff
What You'll Be Doing:

Assist with cafeteria coverage within the Greece Central School District

Food preparation such as making sandwiches, cold plates, etc.

Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment

Operate kitchen appliances
-
Serve students
-
Set up condiments and supplies

Utilize knife skills

Operate POS if needed

Various kitchen duties as needed
