The Role

International Wealth and Personal Banking (IWPB) continues to invest in exceptional products services and experiences for customers. As DAI Delivery Lead you’ll be accountable for end-to-end delivery outcomes across the Digital Authentication & Identity (DA&I) portfolio ensuring stable secure and high-quality engineering and support services. Reporting to the Head of Digital Platforms you’ll align delivery priorities with IWPB and Digital Platforms strategies across major DA&I systems including DSP and DIVA. This role focuses on predictable execution strong governance and continuous improvement across change delivery and run-the-bank work. Success means delivery outcomes that meet agreed scope timelines quality and cost while protecting platform resilience in a security-critical domain. You’ll partner closely with platform and engineering leaders and engage senior stakeholders including IWPB CIO-level and China Technology Leadership to progress decisions and manage escalations.

Principal responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery execution across DA&I programmes and run-the-bank change against agreed scope timelines quality and cost
  • Establish delivery governance across plans milestones dependencies RAID resourcing and financials to support clear decisions and early escalation
  • Embed disciplined agile at scale ways of working plus DevSecOps practices and measurable quality gates across delivery teams
  • Prioritise and sequence delivery demand with Platform Leads and portfolio leadership balancing change throughput with operational stability
  • Improve delivery performance using metrics such as predictability lead time incident trends defect leakage environment stability and automation coverage
  • Recommend trade-off options on scope time cost and risk to protect customer outcomes and platform resilience
  • Coordinate end-to-end readiness across cyber security architecture data infrastructure-cloud and service management including release and change governance
  • Develop delivery capability across teams including talent succession and inclusive ways of working across locations

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

  • Bring substantial technology delivery leadership experience across software development in complex regulated environments
  • Demonstrate proven delivery of customer-focused outcomes across large-scale change and operational support
  • Apply deep understanding of authentication and authorisation engineering ideally within internet-mobile banking or large digital channels
  • Show strong working knowledge of resilience scalability performance and observability across application data and infrastructure
  • Use established cyber security practices and cloud concepts with a secure-by-design approach to delivery
  • Demonstrate practical experience delivering at scale using enterprise agile approaches and DevSecOps tools and processes
  • Influence senior stakeholders across a broad technology organisation and manage cross-team dependencies to clear outcomes
  • Hold SAFe-Agile ITIL cloud or security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP or bring equivalent demonstrable experience
