General Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for coordination of the Family Mentor Program, Dads Coaching Dads Program: providing programmatic support, training, and acting as the liaison for referrals from Case Management Organizations.  This position will serve as the Faith-Based Liaison and volunteer coordinator for the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment and retention of mentors and volunteers. Seek out, plan, attend and present at community events to promote awareness of CNSWFL programs and promote volunteer and mentor opportunities. Manage the web-based application system for volunteer inquiries. Link Volunteer and Foster/Adopt applicants to the appropriate Children’s Network department as received via phone, email, and website application.
Provide overall coordination of the Dads Coaching Dads Program in accordance with major program goals. Facilitate referral process with Case Managers. Coordinate web-based training of volunteers. Coordinate matching mentors with children and families and provide technical assistance as needed. Provide on-going support to mentors as they support children and families by modeling a nonjudgmental trauma-informed approach to mentoring.  Assist in the development of the Family Mentor Support Plan goals and assistance in locating community resources as needed. Maintain data collection tracking system.  Produce periodic reports as requested.
Serve as the Faith-Based Liaison point of contact for the agency.  Coordinate events, speaking opportunities, and collaborations with local faith-based communities and CNSWFL staff members. Maintain data collection tracking system for faith-based initiatives and events.  Produce periodic reports as requested.
Maintain data collection tracking system of volunteers and events.  Provide program data and assistance to Contract department staff for annual reporting and new contract/grant development. Produce periodic reports as requested.
Other duties may be assigned as special projects may be requested.
Working Hours
CNSWFL’s work week is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.  Your supervisor will advise you of your work hours; however, business office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  This job will require evening hours and weekend hours as needed.
Travel
Travel in and outside of Circuit 20 (Lee, Charlotte, Collier and Hendry/Glades counties) may be required.
Training
All employees must complete fifteen (15) hours of on-line or classroom Training on an annual basis.  If the employee is a Certified Child Welfare Professional, Training hours must total twenty (20) annually.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations preferred.

Skills and Abilities
Must be able to operate standard modern office machinery, including fax, telephone, calculator, computer, scanner, printer, copier, and mail machine.  Excellent word processing skills.  Must be competent with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Must be competent with basic e-mail protocol and procedures including sending, receiving, replying, attachments, and meeting scheduling; excellent written and oral communication skills; effective listening skills; ability to work as a team member, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and abide by the highest standards of confidentiality.

Mathematical Skills
