Sanlam Life and Savings (SLS) is focused on serving our retail and corporate clients in South Africa and further developing our strategic advantages in the South African market. Sanlam Life and Savings consists of the following business units Retail Mass, Corporate, Risk and Savings, Glacier and various business enabling functions. The Sanlam Life and Savings Office provides strategic direction, coordination and support to the four clusters, as well as performing governance oversight that includes assurance provided by second line of defense functions in SLS, to enable us to meet our business objectives.
The D365 Developer (Senior) designs, develops, configures, and supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across the SLS ecosystem. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and maintainable business solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Custom Pages, JavaScript, and C# extensions.
Working under the direction of the Technical Lead, the role translates business and solution requirements into high-quality platform implementations while promoting the use of out-of-the-box capabilities before custom development. The role contributes to engineering excellence through code reviews, technical mentoring, adherence to development standards, and support of modern ALM and CI/CD practices.
The successful candidate will help drive platform sustainability, solution quality, and continuous improvement while enabling business teams to maximize value from Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
