$15,000 Sign-On Bonus | Day Shift | Scenic Pacific Northwest Location

Schedule

1st Shift | Monday–Friday
Rotating weekends required

What You’ll Do

As a Cytotechnologist, you’ll play a critical role in detecting and identifying cellular abnormalities with accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens for malignant and abnormal conditions
  • Review liquid-based cytology specimens (manual and imaged) as well as conventional slides
  • Perform microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures and workload standards
  • Maintain accurate workload documentation and compliance with CLIA regulations and laboratory policies
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of test results
  • Meet established slide screening productivity and quality requirements
  • Enter finalized results into the laboratory information system accurately and efficiently
  • Support cytology processing and additional laboratory functions as needed
  • Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and laboratory safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field
  • ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification
  • Ability to pass slide screening requirements and annual CAP proficiency testing
  • Strong understanding of cytology preparation techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Successful completion of a standardized color vision screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Cytology laboratory experience
  • ThinPrep certification
  • Experience with automated and non-automated testing platforms
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
