Job Description

Introduction to the Job
The Customs Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing import/export customs operations for Cymer Korea while ensuring full
compliance with Korean customs regulations and company policies. This role plays a key part in minimizing customs risks and duty costs,
improving customs clearance efficiency, and supporting the seamless movement of materials throughout the global supply chain.
This role is not limited to the responsibilities listed above and may include additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day import and export customs operations for Cymer Korea in compliance with Korean customs regulations and internal trade compliance requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain customs and shipping documentation related to bonded factory operations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of customs declarations and supporting documents.
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve customs-related issues and correct declaration discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support bonded factory operations, including inventory control and customs reporting requirements.
• Manage and monitor third-party logistics and customs service provider billing to ensure accuracy and timely settlement.
• Maintain and enhance duty-saving programs and other customs optimization initiatives.
Provide timely guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders regarding customs, import/export, and shipment related
inquiries.
•Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline customs processes, reduce lead times, and improve operational
efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint and other knowledge-sharing platforms for customs and trade compliance information.
• Support customs audits, investigations, and regulatory reporting activities as required.

• Monitor regulatory changes and proactively assess potential impacts on business operations.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

•5~8 years of experience in customs, international trade, import/export operations, logistics, or trade compliance within a corporate environment.

• Experience in bonded factory, bonded warehouse, or customs-controlled environments is highly preferred.
• Experience lead junior customs analyst, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting customs audits, compliance reviews, or duty-saving programs is preferred.

Skills and Competencies
•Strong knowledge of Korean customs regulations, import/export procedures, bonded operations, and customs compliance requirements.

•Understanding of international trade regulations, Tariff classification, Incoterms, rules of origin, and global supply chain processes.
•Ability to analyze complex customs requirements and identify practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functions and regions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Korean and English.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience in process optimization and digitalization initiatives.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, integrity, and customer focus.
