All about the role:
The exciting thing about this role, besides the involvement in the development of the functionality of the appliances for Fabric and Dish appliances, is the international work environment.
As cycle software developer, you will work closely with colleagues from all over the world, understanding different realities, cultures and people, as well as being part of a young and open-minded team, where creativity is welcome, and innovation is the middle name.
In Porcia facility is located the Global Fabric and Dish care R&D. All functionalities for our appliances are developed and maintained from the beginning to the end of products life, while the qualification testing can be performed both in Electrolux facilities and in external laboratories.
What you will do:
Write in C# programming language the embedded low-level software that implements the functionality of the washing, cleaning and drying cycles in accordance with product specification coming from laboratories, consumer test institutes, consumer insight guideline and international standards
Manage the developed software maintenance along the product life by using the proper tools
Ensure the pre compliance of developed software using real tests and simulation tools (software testing)
Ensure prompt software updates in case of quality improvements for the market
Issue test reports with related template
Use properly laboratory equipment, data acquisitions systems, testing procedures and evaluations of results
Feedback on the test results and preliminary analysis (comprising software simulations) with constructive approach to others department
Propose and implement new ideas for development improvement
Qualifications:
English knowledge is required
Software / Electrical / Electronic / degree, technical engineer or relevant experience ( 1 – 3 years)
Good Knowledge of C# programming language and .Net environment and programming paradigms
Proficiency in Git as a version control tool, including structured commits, managing shared repositories, and collaborating through pull requests
Open-minded
