Finance Supervisor

to join our Finance team in our Szentendre office.

The Role: You will lead a team of finance analysts supporting diverse business functions such as commercial, operations, or investment-related activities. This role blends strong people leadership with hands-on financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring effective business partnering and high-quality financial support to drive performance.

Employment type: part-time (6 hours)

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance analysts, setting clear priorities, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering a collaborative, accountable team culture
• Own team performance and capability building, including workload prioritisation, coaching, and continuous development of analytical and business partnering skills
• Partner with engineering and operational stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, ensuring the team provides clear, actionable insights
• Oversee vehicle/program financial planning activities, including cost tracking vs. targets and investment analysis, with direct involvement where needed
• Ensure strong execution of financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end activities through team oversight and guidance
• Maintain compliance with corporate finance policies and accounting standards, including review and quality assurance of team deliverables
• Support financial aspects of projects, partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives, coordinating team inputs and ensuring consistent financial oversight

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in FP&A, controlling, commercial finance, project finance, operational finance, or related areas.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience is preferred.
• Experience working in an international, matrixed, or cross-functional business environment is highly valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate financial insights into business recommendations.
• Experience with financial systems, reporting tools, and digital solutions such as SAP, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Language Skills:
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Additional European language skills, including German, are considered beneficial for certain roles.
