Job Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting and problem resolution of perpetual inventory variances within CMS system

Responsibilities

Responsible for proper handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery of both material and product per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems and authority to initiate appropriate action necessary to prevent non-conformance to customer specifications

  • Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy of CMS

  • Investigate variances in perpetual inventory

  • Provide CMS system users support with inventory & barcode labeling issues

  • Correct production issues as requested from operators and supervisors

  • Prepare inventory variance forms & reports with analysis and KPIs

  • Help ensure material is stored and location recorded in system

  • Participate in regular physical inventory

  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement suggestions which improve inventory accuracy

  • Housekeeping and other activities as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1 year preferred Cycle Count experience

  • Inventory Control experience, preferably in manufacturing

  • Inventory flow, JIT principles, automotive background preferred

  • Must be available to work overtime as required

Skills

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office and CMS System)

  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Excellent math skills required to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Forklift license and/or previous forklift experience preferred

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
