The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Count, verify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Research and investigate inventory variances and assist with resolving issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Utilize RF scanners and other inventory tracking tools to complete daily tasks.
• Support inventory control processes and compliance with company procedures.
• Work closely with operations teams to identify and correct inventory-related concerns.
• Follow all safety, quality, and productivity standards within the warehouse.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and other inventory projects as assigned.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed, specifially reach truck and order picker

Position: Cycle Counter

Shift: First Shift - Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Pay: $20.00

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

Inventory control, cycle counting, inventory auditing, RF scanner operation, handheld device usage, inventory research, variance investigation, bin location auditing, WMS navigation, inventory tracking, data accuracy, problem-solving, analytical skills, reconciliation, and record maintenance.

MHE Certification: this role will utilize reach truck and order picker

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
