In this position, you willbe responsible forconducting regular inventory counts, ensuring the accuracy of stock records, andassistinginmaintainingoptimalinventory levels. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Performdailycycle countsofinventory tomaintainaccuratestock records
Reportdiscrepancies between physical inventory and inventory management systemsto supervisor and clerk
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper organization and storage of products
Assistin the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices
Support inventory audits andparticipateinTuft Bincounts whenrequired
Identifyopportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
Operate lift trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, toinspect inventory and confirm stock details
Anyadditionaltasks assigned by the supervisor.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
Preferred experience with working withinventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communicationskills and a willingness to collaborate with others
Physical ability to lift and move materials weighing up to25 pounds,asrequired
