Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Cycle Count - 1st shift. This position is based at our Arden, NC location.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What you’ll do

The cycle counter role will perform daily cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of our inventory and respond to individual part eAndons we receive from the work area as requested through Ignition.

In this function you will:

• Perform cycle counts on components and reconcile variances across locations
• Maintain files and records for inventory count results.
• Determine root causes of variances and negative on hands
• Update cycle count worksheet to report what was audited and any variances discovered
• Adhere to all PPE and 5S requirements of the role and area

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing practices and processes
• Forklift experience

Position Criteria

• MS Office Applications Proficiency with strong attention to detail. Excel advance knowledge
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand or bend frequently
• Must have good visual accuracy
• This position must be able to read and comprehend parts drawings, assembly Bill of Materials, pick Sheets, travelers, and related materials documentation
