Our ideal candidate is well-versed in today's cybersecurity threats and prevention methods and brings a strong understanding of computer networks and systems.

This is a vital role on our team: your work will play a direct part in preventing cyberattacks and keeping our data — and the families and associates who depend on it — safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor computer systems and networks for security issues and breaches

• Investigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure

• Test company software, firmware, and firewalls to keep them current and secure

• Help develop security standards and best practices for the organization

• Train associates on network and data security procedures and best practices

• Respond to system and network security breaches

• Run diagnostic tests to identify vulnerabilities, then patch or update systems as needed

• Prepare reports documenting security audit findings and remediation strategies

• Recommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas affecting IT security

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or in a similar role

• Experience with network penetration testing techniques

• Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts

• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities — and explain how to prevent them

• Experience with multi-factor authentication tools (e.g., Duo)

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365

• Experience with SentinelOne

• Understanding of patch management, with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner

• Cyber incident response experience

• Professional certification in cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
