We are looking for an Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Automation Systems R&D organization in Tampere. In this role, you will participate in the development and maintenance of Valmet Automation’s OT product cyber security solutions and contribute to ensuring our products meet the evolving cyber security expectations of industrial environments.
You will work as part of a dedicated team within Valmet Automation Systems R&D, collaborating closely with product development and internal stakeholders.

At least 3 years’ experience of OT cyber security development
Understanding of operational technology (OT) and industrial control environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Identity Access Management
Knowledge of key OT security principles, architecture, and standards - IEC 62443
Experience in product cyber security development and secure development practices
Familiarity with vulnerability management and patch management processes
Understanding of certificates and PKI
Understanding of technologies used in networks and server virtualization
Windows and Linux operating systems
Understanding of modern cybersecurity testing
Ability to cooperate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as business units and IT
Ability to navigate complex OT cyber security landscapes and adapt to evolving environments
Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities
Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to share knowledge
