We are seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Project Manager to join Hitachi Energy’s Security Operations Center (SOC).
In this role, you will lead strategic cybersecurity projects, drive improvements across IT and OT environments, and work closely with operational teams to ensure the seamless execution of initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, operational experts, and stakeholders from various units to align projects with strategic priorities and deliver tangible business value.

How you will make an impact :
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and create comprehensive project plans. Translate business requirements into technical requirements and maintain a continuous dialogue with all stakeholders. Promote best practices in project management and support process improvement initiatives.
Assisting and supporting: Support and embed yourself within operational teams, providing hands-on project guidance. Assist the department’s Service Manager in developing services and enhancing service delivery.
Development and improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and lead associated projects to completion. Develop the SOC’s data analysis capabilities.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver consistent reporting to the PMO through periodic review meetings.
Project communication: Communicate effectively with internal project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
Your background:
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in project management within IT or cybersecurity, with a solid technical understanding.
Security knowledge: Previous experience working with security teams or a strong desire to develop in this field.
Collaboration: Experience working in a global organization is beneficial. Comfortable working with remote teams across multiple time zones.
Project management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects involving diverse teams.
Soft & language skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in both written and verbal communication. Fluency in English is required.
Tools & methodologies: Familiarity with agile frameworks and project management tools.
Personal attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and driven, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
