Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

Join Maxis as a Cybersecurity Intern and gain hands-on experience in developing AI-driven solutions to strengthen cloud security. You will work alongside our cybersecurity team to analyze cloud misconfigurations, leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for security analysis, and support the automation of cloud remediation processes. This internship offers valuable exposure to cloud security, AI applications in cybersecurity, and enterprise-scale automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud misconfiguration data within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to identify security risks and improvement opportunities.

• Utilize AWS Bedrock and LLM APIs to analyze cloud misconfiguration data and generate remediation recommendations.

• Validate AI-generated outputs using an additional LLM API to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Develop dashboards and/or databases to facilitate user review and approval of remediation recommendations.

• Verify AI-generated scripts and support the automation of cloud misconfiguration and IAM role remediation processes.

Value-Added Project

Contribute to PrivilegesPulse, an AI-powered initiative focused on automatically detecting and remediating cloud misconfigurations and Identity & Access Management (IAM) role and permission issues. This project provides the opportunity to gain practical experience in applying AI to enterprise cybersecurity challenges while improving cloud security operations.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledge of cloud security concepts, including cloud misconfigurations, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Google BigQuery.

• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and Large Language Models (LLMs), including secure API integration and usage.

• Experience with Kiro or similar AI-assisted coding tools for rapid development and automation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scripting skills, with an interest in cybersecurity automation and AI-driven solutions.

Internship Period
