At Bosch, we shape the future by inventing high-quality technologies and services that spark enthusiasm and enrich people’s lives. Our promise to our associates is rock-solid: we grow together, we enjoy our work, and we inspire each other.
If you are looking for a role where you can see the direct results of your work rather than being just a small cog in a corporate machine, you will fit right in.
Our team is genuinely international, with a balanced distribution of one-third of the team based in Poland, Germany, and India. We use English as our primary language every day. We are deeply embedded within the global Cybersecurity organization and cooperate closely with other Competence Centers, departments, and end-users.
What makes this role stand out?
• Real Influence & Ownership: In our Polish hub, we don’t just passively execute tasks handed down to us. We take ownership, lead security initiatives, and orchestrate assignments for supporting security teams.
• True Variety No two days are the same. You will handle diverse requests from various Competence Centers and have direct contact with users, giving you a full, hands-on view of the security ecosystem.
• Direct Impact Your decisions and daily work will have a tangible, visible influence on raising the security posture of the entire global Bosch organization.
Your main tasks will include:
• Implementing and managing advanced security measures to protect our cloud-based systems, applications, and data from malware, viruses, and other cyber threats.
• Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential weaknesses in our cloud environment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust security architectures and solutions for our cloud platforms.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud security and malware protection, and proactively implementing best practices.
• Assisting in the investigation of security incidents and providing recommendations for remediation and prevention.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to cloud security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Education University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CCSP, or CISSP are a strong plus).
• Experience Proven experience (3+ years) as a Cloud Security Specialist, Cloud Security Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on malware protection.
• Technical Knowledge In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their respective security features; strong understanding of malware analysis techniques, threat intelligence, and security incident response.
• Microsoft Defender Practical experience in implementing, configuring, and managing security solutions using the Microsoft Defender suite (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
• Tools & Technologies Hands-on experience with Endpoint Malware Protection platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM or encryption methods.
• Automation Proficiency in scripting and automation for security-related tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is highly desirable.
• AI Security Basic understanding or hands-on experience with AI security (either securing cloud-based AI applications or utilizing AI/ML tools for threat hunting) is considered a valuable asset.
• Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Bosch’s culture of innovation and digital transformation offers you a fantastic platform to grow your skills and enhance your network. We are dedicated to building a warm, open, transparent, and inclusive work environment for all.
