The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for the security of software applications, IT systems, and ensuring security best practices throughout Business Wire. This role involves assessing, identifying, and mitigating vulnerabilities in web applications, cloud, and IT systems. This position works closely with development teams to integrate security best practices during the software development process, from design to deployment. The is position works to educate technical and non-technical personnel about threats such as library exploits, phishing attacks, and social engineering. The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and usage of security tools including vulnerability scanning, email security, and logging.
The base salary range for this position is $150K to $155K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
