Cyber Security Engineer (Oil & Gas / OT Security)

We are seeking experienced Cyber Security Engineers with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Operational Technology (OT) and industrial control system environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience and possess relevant cybersecurity, networking, and virtualization certifications.

Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

  • Juniper Certifications

  • Splunk Certifications

Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably within industrial/process control environments.

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity architectures within manufacturing and industrial environments.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, network security guidelines, project specifications, and design documentation.
Develop and review cybersecurity design documents, implementation procedures, and technical deliverables.
Support project managers and multinational engineering teams throughout project execution.
Implement, test, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems (ICS).
Conduct cybersecurity audits, health checks, and system assessments for Yokogawa cybersecurity solutions.
Collaborate with DCS, ESD, SCADA, and automation service engineers to provide lifecycle support and cybersecurity enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve cybersecurity-related issues across OT and IT infrastructures.
Support customer cybersecurity initiatives, assessments, upgrades, and compliance activities.
