Job Description

Garda Capital Partners (Garda) is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with over 22 years of experience deploying relative value strategies across fixed income markets for institutional investors. We hire, grow, and mentor great talent and remain steadfast in our commitment to building a culture that helps them succeed. Garda is more than a workplace. We are built on trust, integrity, and a shared vision for how we work together, the enduring relationships we build, and the consistency of our results. Garda's primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.

Garda is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with experience to support day-to-day security operations, including vulnerability management, IAM, incident response, access reviews, and security awareness initiatives. The role also involves partnering with stakeholders across the firm on security policies, vendor due diligence, and other security projects, with financial services experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities

  • Run vulnerability management and patching: track findings to closure, prioritize remediation, and report on progress
  • Conduct periodic user and privileged access reviews and help maintain least-privilege access across systems
  • Support identity and access management (IAM) operations, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access policy enforcement
  • Handle day-to-day security operations, monitoring, and routine investigations
  • Manage security awareness training and phishing simulation programs and follow up on results
  • Triage and respond to incident escalations from our managed detection and response provider, driving them to resolution and escalating where appropriate
  • Take ownership of analyst-level security tasks and recurring operational work to support the broader team
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Garda's offices
  • Policies / procedures
  • Vendor due diligence
  • Work on security related initiatives as directed by the security architect

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 3-5 years in an infrastructure or security role
  • Experience in financial services is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Source control and pipeline security operations (GitSecOps) experience
  • Solid understanding of core security concepts: network protocols, firewalls, common attack vectors, and risk
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISM, or CISSP are a plus
  • Detail-oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills
